Hey!
I'm starting today a new side hustle! A SaaSitive: https://saasitive.com it is a website with tutorials that show how to build real SaaS applications from scratch with Django and React.
The idea is that:
- I will select a micro-SaaS and code it from scratch. The product will be open-source. It will be deployed and available for usage. The created SaaSes will be paid.
- I will create tutorials showing step-by-step how the services were created.
- Some parts of tutorials will be open and free, some parts of tutorials will be paid (subscription $29 month)
The SaaSes to start:
- Django+React open-source boilerplate. It will cover user registration/login/profile, basic dashboard, and payments (with Stripe)
- SaaS for selling online tutorials - will need one ;)
- SaaS for newsletters (clone of TinyLetter)
- SaaS for website monitoring (clone of UptimeRobot, Simpleops)
- SaaS for scheduling social media posts
- SaaS for website analytics (clone of Google Analytics)
I'm interested in your comments and feedback!
Did you made saas yourself? Why not teach that step by step?
You may want to experiment with including concrete examples in your headline, for example "Create a Twitter Clone in Django: Step-by-Step Tutorial". Makes it easier to visualize what I'll get vs. just saying "Create a SaaS'.
