Starting the marketing stage

I have been working on this side project for more than 6 months, and after thinking and thinking, I decided to start the marketing stage to make my product finally public. Perhaps it is too soon, or maybe it is too late, but if I have no users it's impossible to know the next steps to follow in the development, what people wants, how to monetize, etc.
