Hi all,
I posted this article a while back: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/5-days-post-launch-top-50-on-product-hunt-zero-signups-and-why-i-think-thats-actually-fine-77b1fc59e4 - the response from you guys was great, helpful and constructive.
I built Minerva AI as an AI native note vault - like Obsidian but with no setup or creaky plugins. I really like Obsidian but I found that I would spend more time on tweaking my setup than actually using it for what I wanted - to plan my life and businesses. So I built Minerva AI - starting with the AI at the centre of everything and built around it. I love it but that is just me. It launched on PH and it looked like I was still the only one loving it 😂.
I therefore had to really look at what I wasn't good at (getting the name out there and funneling people through to experience what I believe to be a valuable tool). I looked at several options; reddit, different launch platforms, insta etc. Settling on using Sabrina Romanov's Blotato and kie.ai to create and post video creatives for tiktok, insta and youtube shorts.
Consistent posting everyday has started to gain users and followers and while Minerva AI is not a household name (yet!), it has at least help me put some faith into my project.
Minerva-ai.app is by no means a success story yet but the point of this post is to firstly say thanks for all the great feedback on my first post and secondly, if you are solo, it is hard to focus on the stuff that doesn't come as naturally to you but it is probably the area that is causing significant friction if you feel like you are banging your head against a brick wall.

The shift from zero signups to users is interesting, but I’d want to separate acquisition from traction. Are the people coming from short-form actually using Minerva repeatedly, or is the new channel mostly improving top-of-funnel numbers?
Great question and thank you. At the moment engagement is good but still early days.
That’s a useful early signal. I’d be interested in seeing how that engagement develops into repeat usage. If you’re open to it, what’s the best email to reach you on?
