Starting to write for education and growth

Part of the challenge facing SeriousGamesJobs is a need to not only reach our target audience- people with game development skills- but also educate them about the kinds of jobs we focus on, where they can use their talents outside of traditional game studios.

To this end, I'm taking a few weeks to write about the industries I've worked in over the past decade which use Unity and Unreal Engine skills. I'm not a very practiced writer, so I'd appreciate any feedback.

I'm starting on Medium to leverage their network, and will eventually move to a blog on the main site (though I'm a bit concerned my SEO might suffer if I have identical articles in two places, has anyone experienced this?).
