Startup #2: I spent $855.77 on Google Ads last month and got my ads banned five times

For startup #2, I decided to pivot and spend this month putting my effort into marketing ideas rather than creating them. So I ran a giant marketing experiment to compare different product ideas. In the end, the winning product idea was a Gmail plugin to identify phishing emails, so I'll be working on that next.

Hi, just curious... Will you do a chrome extension to identify phishing emails or how it will be implemented?

I built it as a Gmail extension rather than a Chrome extension because I figured if I ended up building a version for Outlook or Yahoo mail, it would be easier to re-use the code (assuming Gmail extensions and Outlook extensions have similar processes in place for approval).

Tbh I realized about two months in that I should have built it as a Chrome extension, the Gmail extension infrastructure is super janky, which is why I think most popular Gmail plugins (i.e. boomerang) are built as Chrome extensions not Gmail extensions.
