Startup Idea: What do you do if there is already a competitor?
If there is already a competitor for the startup idea that you have, what do you need to do, if you are still interested in the idea?

Having a competitor is actually a good sign. It validates your idea and market to a certain extent. You can continue researching the market and all the competitors. Look at what they offer. Think about how you will be different. If all you can offer is a lower price, you may need to think harder. Go ahead and build an MVP and get it out there ASAP.
Are you looking to win the whole market? For me, I can not enter any market that has no competitors.
It depends on what your goals are. If making few thousand dollars monthly sounds like a hit to you, having competitors is nothing to fear about.
