Startup ideas matched to skills, interests, and constraints.

I haven't thought about startups for over a decade but a few weeks ago I began wondering what nowadays I could build, given my background, constraints, skills, and interests.

So I built a tool to help with exactly that.

Inuvi (inuvi.com) generates personalized startup ideas from your actual profile: your skills, experience, time, capital, and risk tolerance. Not generic "build an app" suggestions, but ideas grounded in who you actually are.

I've been running it quietly, and the output has surprised me (in a good way!). Ideas I wouldn't have thought to consider, scored against dimensions that matter: founder fit, problem importance, execution odds, market value.

Right now, it's free. If this version gets interest, I'll add ways to monetize it.

Interesting idea. The strongest part is not “AI startup ideas” by itself, because that can feel generic quickly. The stronger angle is founder-fit filtering.

A lot of people have ideas. Fewer know which idea actually fits their skills, time, risk tolerance, and realistic execution path.

If you monetize this, I would avoid jumping straight to a broad subscription. The first paid test might be more specific:

“Get 3 startup ideas matched to your profile, plus the first validation path for each.”

That turns the output from inspiration into a decision tool.

I’d also separate casual users from serious users quickly. Someone browsing ideas for fun is low value. Someone with skills, time constraints, and intent to build in the next 30 days is much closer to paying.

The main question I’d test is: will users pay for better idea selection, or for the next step after selection?

That answer probably decides the product direction.
