What are some of the sites that I can use for research as part of getting statistics and facts- for eg: demographics stats.
What is recommended- free or paid service? If paid , what is the average rate of price to buy these data?

On a broader level- If I have an idea/problem, where do I invest most time -directly connecting with customers? What If I don't have any close friends that is going through this problem?
