Status pages

Does anyone use statuspage.io? It seems quite expensive for what it is? Are there other options out there anyone can recommend?

This happens to be my area of expertise as my product, StatusGator monitors status pages.

There are so many competitors to StatusPage.io and also a lot of open source tools as well. Try Cachet which is PHP, or Staytus which is Ruby, or Statusfy which is node.

There is also Runstatus which is hosted but very inexpensive. Also check out Freshwork’s offering for another free/cheap host.

Okay now you made me realize I definitely need to write a price comparison blog post, so thank you for the content idea!

Give me a shout if you ever write that comparison!

I would suggest updown.io , it is a very reliable service. I have been using it for ages without issues.

Thanks db. I'll take a look at this as well as the others above too. It sounds like more of a monitoring tool as opposed to a status page.

    Hi @techguytommy,

You might want to give Statuspal.io a try, we provide status page hosting & monitoring at a fraction of Atlassian's price.

I know it might be a bit late, but did you happen to stumble upon Hosted Status Page, a product I'm working on? 😊

Hi stoj, no I didn't see this one so I'll check it out at some point. Looks like it might have been a bit new for me to have noticed it around the time I was looking before. Thanks.
