Hi hackers!
I would like to introduce here a project I launched 4 months ago quietly. A few digital agencies are using it now.
The tool name is Knocker (https://knocker.io) and his only duty, for now, is to find small businesses & companies that do not have a website (or have an invalid website).
I have revamped the landing page in the past few days, decreased lead price from $1 to $0.25 (barely making a profit at this price) and added a help center.
With the global crisis and imposed lockdowns around the world, I see the product as a solution for freelancers to get more incomes and at the same time, help small businesses out there - that do not have a satisfying digital presence - to get more exposure. So it is time for me to talk loud about it.
I would really appreciate your honest and cruel feedback not only about the landing page but the whole concept!
With love,
Hi, I love the design, its so clean. It's very clear. The only critique I have is with the pricing:
@aaemiro Thank you very much for your feedback!
Ok, basically I should focus on implementing subscription-based packages instead of pay-per-use pricing.
It's very hard to pull off a pay-per-use model. Instead, subscriptions might offer you consistent MRR and you can add different plans, ex. 1K leads for devs, 10K leads for agencies, 1M for bigger customers. Plus using subscriptions makes it predictable for how much the customer will end up paying, making it easier for someone to sign up. You'll also have to factor your cost into consideration as well.
