Hi everyone, just wondering what kind of tools do you use to stay organized, focused, and on track with your entrepreneurial initiatives, goals, priorities, and projects at an individual entrepreneur level (not corporate). I find myself using Notebooks, Keep, OneNote, Trello, Evernote, Sheets, Docs, Pocket, etc. and many other apps to keep things organized, but it can get distracting and messy at times while moving from one place to another.
Hi Ronny! I've been in your position. My cofounder and I were building a startup last year, and we were fumbling tasks. Sometimes we would use Todoist, Trello, Sheets, Notability.
We found these to be too complex and feature-bloated. We would use them for a while, but we would then declare "task-bankruptcy" (when we had too long of a backlog). Those tools started requiring a lot of management from us, and this was counterproductive. We decided to build a task manager with simplicity and speed at its core. This makes for a product that actually helps you to get things done.
I recommend you use the simplest tool that gets the job done for you. We have found that the simpler the tool is, the easier it is to stick with. Good luck!
I've recently started using the free tier of https://notion.so it's a sort of All-in-one for all those different tools you're mentioning!
They've got a good migration system from some of those tools so it should be a mostly painless switch,
I'm also really interested in trying Roam Research for the same purpose but I've yet to get access :/
Thanks for the reply, @marc_nevin. I am checking notion now; it looks pretty handy will give it a shot, also requested access to Roam Research interested to see what this one looks like.
No worries, let me know how you get on if you get access to Roam!
Also for Notion, you'll be able to find "templates" if you go looking for a whole host of different use-cases :D
