Happy Thursday!
This week for me has been an awesome one, which made me realize that I don't always feel like this. Hacking away at home, I have a lot of distractions, everyday and every hour. Kids, Wife, phone, other monitors, boredom, or that that bird outside the window... This week was an awesome tide turner because I slowed down and took a breath. I wrote a post a couple of weeks ago about how I wanted to start building and maintain small goals but I still felt like I was idling at a 5 or 6 on a stress level. Goals can't fix that.
I literally stand up and take a breath a couple of times an hour. I can honestly say that this has helped me learn, create, and stay motivated with my tasks.
For example, while building our User Settings at YEN, I got stuck and instead of wasting an hour or two trying to fix a problem. I took a breath, updated our small team and started tackling a new goal on my list for the day.

Dang it feels good to get some solid work done.
