Staying on track while QC testing Bonai

This week I am heads down pressure testing and debugging all problems I find in Bonai, which I am planning to make live by Friday this week for first users. Something I have noticed is that as I test and debug, it can be a real challenge to know how to make the decision of whether to expand the scope just a little bit to include really important/great features, which I realize should be there as I go through testing. Seeing the platform work as a user would see it brings up irresistible ideas for expanding feature scope incrementally, and this can make the process feel really slow and prone to getting lost on tangents.

I consider myself to be a very focused person, but there is something about this process of getting something ready for real users that activates all the perfectionism/it's never ready frame of mind. I am trying to balance thorough testing and complete feature inclusion for MVP, while not getting distracted by expanding the scope beyond what my vision is for the launch. I want to get this in front of real users ASAP to get feedback on what works and what doesn't.

That's my build board update for the day, no huge breakthroughs, just a scientist wondering if I am succeeding in giving myself ADHD by this debugging process and getting lost on feature build tangents. Wish me luck in staying razor sharp focused!
