Step-by-step Idea Validation Workshop Framework

Are you a startup founder asking yourself:

"How do I validate my idea?"

If so, you're not alone.

Every day, IndieHackers and entrepreneurs from around the world are trying to figure out how to ensure their new business concept is viable in the marketplace.

If you are one of the many who agree, then your intuition is spot on.

Investing in a business is no small decision and should only be done after you find a proof of concept on the market.

It all boils down to the same questions:

  • Is my idea going to work?
  • Are people interested in my solution?
  • Is anyone going to pay for this solution?

Unfortunately, there is no single validation formula available on the market that fits all types of businesses. So, entrepreneurs must go through numerous articles to discover which would be most suitable for their business.

  • How to create a landing page
  • How to talk to the customers
  • How advanced should be your MVP or MLP? etc.

These are all tactics that might work to validate your business.

The problem lies elsewhere - you need a proper framework to identify what you should actually test - it's not a product, but a business assumption.

Then you can start searching for the winning landing page formulas and best customer interview scripts.

That's why I created this framework: a single process that provides the tools necessary to ask and answer the most crucial questions and wrap your head around whatever concept is swirling around in your head.

This 30-minute video will help you:

  • Get to know the product, step out of the bubble and look at it in a more critical way; get a high-level perspective

  • Highlight the most critical points - does my problem matter, and what has to be true to make this business work(?)

  • Identify the riskiest assumption and design a proper experiment.

It's all explained on a fictional startup idea example - "The AI Growth/Business Analyst." So you can see how I implement it "on the go."

With this model in mind, you can analyze your business idea, gain instant clarity on what to do next, and save hours thinking about what to do next between hundreds of tactic articles.

No matter your business, this methodology work across the board.

It has worked for my clients, from eCommerce, VR startups, and SaaS to big names in Web3 and even the construction industry.

For example, Having only 3D renders, we successfully validated an idea and generated the first $100k in sales for a modular housing startup.

And it's 100% free, and I'm not asking for a newsletter signup.

The downside? Sadly, I recorded it on my computer without taking the time to edit and enhance its quality. But if you like the content, I promise to step up my video game over the next module.
