Still racing to show value in 3 seconds?

Modern users have extremely short attention spans (including me).

Honestly, it’s both sad and alarming.

We’re not just adapting to a fast world. We’re actively training ourselves to run on dopamine hits instead of deep thought.

The 3-second rule isn’t wisdom… it’s a symptom of a sick attention economy. At this rate, we’ll soon hear: “If you can’t demonstrate value in the first 0.000003 seconds, it’s over.” The race never ends — unless we choose to stop feeding it.

I think we’re quietly degrading our human ability to read text and comprehend, have patience, do deep work, focus, and build real wisdom at the cost of speed and convenience.

I reject the constant pressure to explain https://startupmaya.com in under 3 seconds or chase virality. I can’t force anyone to try it. And I won’t castrate the product just to fit the current meta.

Startup Maya is not going anywhere. No hurry. No pressure.

Real question:

Which is healthier in the long run — demonstrating value in the first 3 seconds or increasing our attention span?
