Stop Clipboard Hacks: Why I built VeriWeb3 to secure your mobile crypto transfers

As the Web3 ecosystem grows, so do the risks. One of the most common and devastating attacks is clipboard malware—where a virus on your device detects a crypto address and swaps it with the attacker's address the moment you hit "paste."

I built VeriWeb3 to be the "Second-Screen" sanity check for every crypto user.

The Problem: Most security tools are browser extensions. But many of us use mobile wallets to send funds. There’s often a gap between copying an address and signing the transaction where things can go wrong.

What VeriWeb3 does:

• Independent Verification: Quickly verify destination addresses to ensure they haven't been tampered with.

• Smart Contract Insights: Get a clearer view of what you are interacting with before you commit assets.

• Security-First UX: A lightweight, no-nonsense interface designed to be used right before you hit "Send" on your wallet app.

• Phishing Protection: Helping users identify known malicious addresses and risky interactions.

My Vision: My goal with VeriWeb3 is to make the "Wild West" of crypto a bit safer for everyone. Whether you are a DeFi veteran or a newcomer, having a dedicated security layer on your phone is essential.
