Hey Indie Hackers,
I’m tired of "Local SEO" feeling like a guessing game.
A few months ago, I was manually checking Google Maps rankings for a friend’s business, zip code by zip code. It was tedious, inaccurate, and frankly, boring. I looked for a tool to automate it, but everything was either $200/month or looked like it was built for Windows 95.
So, I built Super GEO.
Super GEO turns a messy spreadsheet of rankings into a visual heat map.
The Goal: See exactly which street corner you’re losing to competitors.
The Tech: A lean Next.js app optimized to keep API costs low—so I can actually price it for small biz owners, not just agencies.
I’ve spent 4 months in "builder mode," and today I’m officially transitioning to "growth mode." I have a handful of beta testers, a mountain of coffee receipts, and a lot of nerves.
I’m looking for two things from this community:
Honesty: Is hyper-local SEO too niche, or is the "riches in the niches" rule real?
Roasts: Check out the tool and tell me why you wouldn't pay for it yet.
I'm an engineer by trade, so I'm learning the marketing side on the fly. Let's talk in the comments!
