Most of us treat pricing like a one-time hunch.
You pick a number that “feels affordable,” peek at a few competitors, maybe run a quick poll with friends… and then avoid touching it because you’re scared of breaking everything.
Meanwhile:
You’re not sure if you’re leaving money on the table.
You don’t know which segments think you’re “too cheap” vs “too expensive.”
You have no idea how a small price change would impact conversions.
We kept seeing this with founders we work with, and we were doing the same thing on our own products. So we built Right Price.
Right Price is part of the Right Suite GTM validation platform. It lets you simulate how different buyer types react to your pricing before you ship a new offer or change your current one.
Instead of waiting 3–6 months to see if your new price “worked,” you get directional signal in about 20 minutes.
What Right Price does
Right Price helps you answer three core questions for your SaaS:
Who is most willing to pay at this price point?
Where does this price feel like a “no-brainer” vs a “hard no”?
How sensitive are different segments to price changes?
You plug in:
Your offer (what they get, who it’s for)
Your current or proposed price (or a range you’re considering)
A few details about your target buyer
Right Price then runs this through simulated buyers across relevant archetypes and shows you:
Which segments see your price as “cheap,” “fair,” or “too expensive”
How likely they are to buy at those price points
How much upside you might unlock by moving up or down
The goal isn’t to spit out a “perfect” price. The goal is to give you a clear, testable direction instead of blind guessing.
When to use it
Right Price is built for those decision moments where you’d otherwise shrug and pick a number:
You’re about to launch and have no idea if you should be at $9, $29, or $99.
You’re wondering if your current $19 plan should really be $39.
You’re adding a new tier (e.g. “Pro” or “Team”) and want to avoid cannibalizing existing plans.
You’re moving from lifetime deals to subscriptions and don’t want to scare away your early adopters.
You can run it as a one-off analysis (just pricing) or as part of a full GTM validation flow with other Right Suite tools (audience, positioning, messaging, channels, etc.).
Who this is for
Right Price is especially useful if you’re:
An indie hacker or solo founder trying to stop undercharging for your product.
An early-stage SaaS team that needs pricing signal before committing to a big change.
An agency / GTM consultant who has to make pricing recommendations across multiple clients.
If your current plan is “keep this price and hope for the best,” Right Price is built to give you a faster way to pressure-test that decision.
Why we’re building this
There’s a stat you see in pricing research: a 1% improvement in price can drive 10–13% more profit.
But in practice, most of us:
Round down because we’re scared to charge more.
Never revisit pricing after launch.
Copy competitor prices without understanding why they picked those numbers.
We’ve seen great products struggle not because the value wasn’t there, but because the pricing was either:
Framed poorly (“per seat” vs “per account” vs “per usage”)
Positioned for the wrong segment
Or simply too low to be taken seriously
Right Price is our attempt to make pricing less of an emotional guess and more of a repeatable experiment founders can run whenever they’re stuck.
If you’re currently staring at your Stripe dashboard wondering whether to double your price, add a higher tier, or keep everything as-is, we’d love to get your feedback on Right Price, your current pricing challenges, or specific teardown requests in the comments.
