StoreScribe AI — WooCommerce plugin that automates product content generation for store owners with large catalogs

Hey IH,

I built StoreScribe AI — a WooCommerce plugin that generates all your product content directly inside the product editor using AI.

The problem it solves

Writing descriptions, SEO titles, meta descriptions, alt text, and tags manually for hundreds of products is a nightmare. Copy-pasting from ChatGPT product by product isn't much better. I couldn't find anything that handled it end to end inside WooCommerce so I built it.

What it does

  • Generates descriptions, short descriptions, SEO titles, meta descriptions, alt text, and tags directly inside WooCommerce
  • SEO fields write straight into Yoast or RankMath — no copy-pasting
  • Bulk generator processes your entire catalog at once
  • AI studio product photos via DALL-E 3
  • Works with OpenAI or Gemini — you bring your own API key
  • ~$0.10 to fully optimize 100 products in API costs

Two versions

Free — description and SEO title generation
Pro — full suite including bulk generator, image generation, all SEO fields — $39 one-time

This is a smart niche - the "hundreds of products, no time to write each description" pain is real and WooCommerce specifically is underserved compared to Shopify's app ecosystem. The direct Yoast/RankMath field writing is the detail that sells it to me, since that's usually the annoying manual step even when you already have AI-generated copy. Bring-your-own-API-key is also the right call at $39 one-time, keeps your margins sane. Curious how you're handling quality control on the bulk run - do you review before it pushes live, or does it write straight to the product pages?

This is a great use case—catalog scale is where AI actually saves real time.
Curious how you’re handling consistency + SEO across large batches (titles, descriptions, meta)? That’s usually where things drift and rankings get messy.
Also, do you have any guardrails for accuracy (especially specs) so store owners don’t end up publishing subtle errors?

“This is a really strong wedge — WooCommerce SEO content is exactly the kind of repetitive workflow where AI actually delivers clear ROI, not just novelty.

What stands out is that you didn’t build ‘a writing tool’, you embedded AI directly into the product workflow (product editor + bulk ops + SEO plugins). That shift from tool → workflow layer is what makes this feel immediately usable at scale.

You should test this thinking in a live setting as well — we’re running a small round where builders are exploring workflow-embedded AI tools like this. $19 entry, winner gets a Tokyo trip (flights + hotel).

Round 01 just opened (100 cap) — best odds right now.”
