Stories of automation for ideas about automating your own business

The Automation Cookbook https://automationcookbook.io is a newsletter about automating tedious business processes, so you can focus on higher level challenges of your business.

But often times, it can be hard to see what can be automated if you haven't seen it before. So while we can see that people popularly connect form builders to spreadsheets, what are they using it for? Hearing about concrete use-cases gives us ideas for our own situations.

Part of no-code is being able to automate parts of your business that is time-consuming and tedious. If you work in your business day to day, you'll never get to work on your business.

Visit and subscribe if this floats your boat.

Thanks! Is there any automation that you're using for moderating IH?

None yet. My controls are fairly limited, so I'm working on making suggestions on how to make moderating more streamlined. :)

What's been the biggest challenge so far?

The comments hands down. I think if there was a more streamlined way to moderate/respond to comments, that would make it a lot easier. BUT, I think IH is an excellent platform, so definitely no qualms about it.

I'm guessing you have to click through each post and see if there's anything new?

So if it was ordered by "new" then you can just visit a single page to see what the new comments are and what the context of that comment is?

I can see them in the notifications then have to click back to the original comment to reply. It's tough doing that when you've gotten a lot of comments because some are easily missed ☹️

Keep bugging @csallen for some moderation tools. Flipping back and forth on IH or any other website can suck the fun out of it.
