Hello Indie hackers,
I want to update my story because launching is near the corner.
The team and I targeted the launching day on 1st May. However, we found some things that needed to be corrected when we integrated all APIs. 3rd May is the Demo Day in the University of Utah Lassonde studio, and we could not show our very first product to future investors or users. However, we will provide a QR code for the LaunchWith pitching deck and bring a laptop to sign up for the forthcoming launch. We also printed out the pitch deck so students can look. It has been almost 4 months since I recruited an entire team for development, and I was looking forward to seeing our MVP.
But I realize delaying the launching date is not the problem. Our overarching goal is to launch our MVP for future users who need our product desperately. My feeling - it could be a disappointment or sorrow - is not important now because my co-founder and team members will feel the same way. I was cheering them up and explaining that plan B might work well. In the real world does not go as you plan. If someone is reading my journey, I want to give one lesson - If something is going as your plan, then that means there is something wrong. I appreciate my team, and I trust them. I want to update the story as soon as we launch our MVP. I hope launching does not take more than 5 days.
For someone struggling with launching, if you are not a developer or related to product building, focus on how to do marketing and recruit new users. That would help you a lot.
I will come back with my MVP this weekend! Keep my updates!
