Strapi CMS, anyone?

Is anyone here using the Strapi CMS? If so, with which service do you host it or do you host it yourself?

Started using strapi a couple of days ago.
We self-hosted on a $6 digitalocean server.
I'm curious about the performance of the $2 plan. IIRC strapi docs said to have at least 1GB of ram. Do you have any stats for that?
Also curious on how you plan on supporting plugins. Plugins were a pretty important thing for us.

Yes, for the performance we measured the actual requirements. A barebones installation uses <100 MB of RAM and 0.5 GB disk. Even with hundreds of thousands of rows in the database and heavy usage both memory and disk usage do not increase by much. The disk size comes into play mostly for the mediathek image uploads.
