I am surprised and a bit scared about this because the fine seems too steep for an individual.

    This has definitely made me cross any similar type of business ideas off my list. We don't have the whole story here but it is still shocking!

      Yeah. It's shocking. Without any legal resources at disposal, an indie hacker has to fight this battle alone.

      Like you said, staying away from building a product that can be used by scammers is the way to go.

    The amount is really huge and never heard of such thing happened in the past.
