I created a Stripe account for my new business, vehiclereports.net, about 30 days ago.
Everything was going fine until we received an email saying we have a 100% hold on our funds because our URL isn’t working from the Stripe reviewer’s location. This statement is patently false. Please visit our site for yourselves to verify this.
First, the reviewer claimed that we need to resubmit our website in the settings with https:// in front of the vehiclereports.net. We did so.
Then, Stripe claimed the website isn’t working a further three times, despite my developer and I verifying that this is again, patently false.
Eventually, we got a reviewer to admit that the website works. He claimed that we would be notified of Stripe’s final decision on our funds within 24 hours. This hasn’t happened.
Instead, we received an email saying we need to provide links to our social media accounts. I already did this when registering the account with the built-in Facebook and LinkedIn feature.
At this point, Stripe keeps asking me to do things I’ve already done and is refusing to lift our hold.
What’s more problematic is they’re holding revenue we ALREADY PAID FOR. By this I mean we’ve paid Google Ads upfront for about $10k worth of clicks, and we haven’t been paid the sales from these clicks. This has resulted in an overdraft.
This behavior is completely unacceptable and no one at Stripe has been able to rectify the issue. Does anyone know what I can do in this scenario? I’m truly lost.
I can access your site
Hey @BrendaM—sent you an email earlier. I'm sorry for all the hassle here. Seems like there could be some issues with your site. Once we get that fixed we'll be able to get this sorted!
