Stripe Merchant Payments

Hello Fellow Hackers!

I have a question about Stripe, what I am wondering we are looking at offering a really easy server hosting solution but our payments will be in arrears, I am wondering if stripe has any sort of protection for merchants or should we look at some other service as we really don't want to be out of pocket if customers cancel or the card declines. Appreciate any help you can give. What is the best way to handle this with Stripe?
