Need your guidance, fellow indie hackers.
So I have a newsletter in Revue. The thing is that the topics I want to do are long to put in a newsletter Revue.
So my idea was that the newsletter was only part of the text and then the link for the topic itself would lead to the website/product I am building in a blog post.
The problem is that doesn't seem a good flow and people could easily then go to the website and see the blog post with no need to sign up for the newsletter.
Another idea was that the website itself had those pages behind signup, so only accessible to whom signed up for the newsletter but not sure...
Can you share your newsletter flow or what you think about this idea?
Thank you
Is there a limit in Revue preventing you from posting the whole thing? If you do want to make a membership wall, I use Beehiiv which supports that + doesn't have a limit afaik.
No. No limit i was don't like a newsletter when is really long with .if i don't read it all at once then i have to go there again and scroll where i was...for me I don't like but yeah it's possible.
Thank you for the beehiiv option.
What's wrong with people going directly to the website? I think you'll still get a bunch of people signing up for your newsletter anyway - if they like your content they'll want a notification when you've posted.
Yeah, I decided that I will keep it like that. For now, there is no point in making any membership walls and that stuff. Thank you
