Struggling to Grow My AI Quote Poster Tool (QuoteImageAI) — SEO Efforts Fell Flat. Need Advice!

Hey Indie Hackers! 👋

I’m a solo founder and first-time builder, and I recently launched QuoteImageAI (https://quoteimageai.com)— an AI-powered tool that creates customizable quote posters in seconds. Think Canva for quotes, but with AI-generated designs tailored for social media, wall art, or personal motivation.

Progress So Far:

Built the MVP with basic AI design templates and customization options.

Focused on SEO: Optimized pages with keyword-rich content (e.g., "inspirational quotes," "quote posters"), added categories/tags, and published text-based quote collections to attract organic traffic.

Result: Steady but very slow growth (~20-30 users/month).

Roadblocks:

SEO Limbo: Despite keyword targeting, ranking for competitive terms feels impossible as a small player.

Audience Clarity: I’m not sure who the ideal user is — bloggers? Social media managers? Casual users?

Virality Gap: The tool is functional but lacks a "wow" factor to encourage sharing.

What I’ve Tried:

Sharing on Reddit/SM communities (minimal traction).

Basic Pinterest pins for quote images (low click-through).

Ask for Help:

Growth Hacks: What low-cost strategies would you recommend beyond SEO?

Audience Targeting: How do I identify and reach the right niche?

Product Tweaks: Any features that could make the tool more shareable or sticky?

Collaborations: Would partnerships (e.g., with bloggers, quote accounts) help?

Try the Tool & Roast It:
If you have 2 minutes, I’d love brutally honest feedback: https://quoteimageai.com.

Thanks for being an amazing community — excited to learn from your wisdom! 🙏

Why This Works for Indie Hackers:
Transparency: Sharing metrics ("20-30 users/month") builds credibility and shows you’re serious.

Specificity: Clearly outlining what you’ve tried (SEO, Pinterest) helps avoid generic advice.

Actionable Ask: Focusing on 4 key areas (growth hacks, audience, product, collabs) guides responders.

Community Vibe: Inviting feedback ("roast it") aligns with Indie Hackers’ collaborative culture.

Let me know if you’d like to refine this further! 🚀
