Struggling with conversion

Hello,

I'm struggling with conversion from views to newsletter signups, particularly for a dating site. Online dating is a bit like porn right? There's a certain amount of shame tied to it. Hence noone wants to leave their numbers or email address. Also, I'm trying to extricate my service from traditional social media, which helps to advertise and market the service on said platform, but then ties you to that platform.

Anyone have thoughts?
