Subscription-based car features
That's right, car companies are taking SaaS companies approach towards pricing.
If you want heated seats? That'll be $59/month.
Oh, you want gas for your car? Pay us $100/month and we'll give you a gas card you can use, on us.
I'm tired of the feature-based pricing model eating the world i.e Spotify, YouTube, HBO.
Cars already cost thousands of dollars today, but I guess they are only going to go up form here...
I don't like the SaaS approach in cars. I think it's downright dumb, and is a huge turn off for me.
You already have to pay for your car to have heated seats over non-heated seats. But then, I also have to pay a monthly subscription in order to use this feature I paid for?
