Sold his GitHub app to GitHub a couple years ago and ran the first Chicago Indie Hackers meetup.
I was wondering the same and was going into the direction of doing a Github Marketplace launch, but then found this post: https://github.community/t/github-app-marketplace-submission-review-time/14655/6
I'll prob still launch there at some point, but deprioritized it for now.

Oh thanks for this. I was considering a GH marketplace app in the next year, but I noticed how poor the ecosystem seemed to be for publishing/reviewing/etc. Seemed like indies had a harder time getting eyes than backed companies.
