Successful people - where do you hang out?
Something that comes up repeatedly in books & blogs, is the recommendation to hang out with other successful people.
But where do they all hang out? I don't know any 'successful' people by the typical definition but would love to go hang out.
Obviously they don't hang out at bars. They might be at gym in the morning listening to podcasts and unreceptive to strangers. Industry meetups are few and far between.
So where have you found successful people to hang out with and lift & inspire you to grow?
I hosted indiehacker meetups pre-pandemic and met some awesome people. I found coworking spaces in SEA to be extremely useful to meet others who speak at meetups, host, speak on certain topics. If you're interested in speaking but don't have anything to say, consider hosting a panel as moderator. I met 3 awesome people and asked them questions, in front of an audience.
