Suggestions on App design/prototyping?

Hey all, I'm looking to get to the next stage of my app development before showcasing the idea/prototype.

To that end, can anyone recommend any app design software (preferably no-code or low-code) that will allow me to build the outline and preview how it will work?

Many thanks!

It depends on how complicated your expected interactions are going to be. For simple things like taps / small animations you can use figma or framer x web (both are free). More complex interactions or animations can be done in Principle or protopie.

    Hey there 👋,

    I recommend using https://www.figma.com/

It is free to use for personal projects and can be used in your browser or through their desktop app. Design changes are automatically synced to the cloud and you can invite other people, who can view and/or edit your designs.

They also have a built-in prototyping solution that you can use to showcase your information architecture and navigation. If their native prototyping solution is not sufficient enough, I recommend exporting your designs from Figma to a prototyping tool like https://www.invisionapp.com/ or https://marvelapp.com/ (there is also a Figma Plugin available that allows you to easily import your Figma Designs to Marvel).
