Summer's here, and I've been on a mission to find shorts that don't look like I'm about to go hiking or attend a wedding.

You know the struggle. Either they're too baggy, too tight, or made of that weird fabric that shows every crease. I've tried a dozen pairs from different brands this year alone.

Last week I grabbed three pairs from a new collection I found, and I'm genuinely surprised. The first is a lightweight chino short that hits just above the knee—perfect for casual Fridays or grabbing coffee. The second is a performance knit that actually moves with you during workouts but doesn't look like gym wear. The third is a linen blend that's already saved me from melting during a weekend BBQ.

The fit is modern without being skinny. The waistband has enough stretch to be comfortable after lunch. And they come in colors that aren't just navy and black.

If you're tired of the shorts struggle, check out what I found at https://frishay.com. Their men's shorts section has some solid options that actually work for real life.

What's your go-to summer short style? Still experimenting with the 5-inch inseam trend.
