    What Went Well
Welp, I took a little longer than I should have to put together a couple of one-page "Teasers" for Magnus Rush and Announcr, but finally did and got them out. It was a really great exercise to go through and succinctly state the value props of the projects. Hopefully will result in expanding upon some initial investor activity.

    What Could Be Improved
I had a very difficult time balancing things this week as the first kind of summer transition week. Kids are out of school and so are with me almost every day (hooray!!) and we run down to the pond and go swimming on work breaks. As a result I've been getting a ton more exercise and have been truly utterly exhausted at night, when I'd normally pour a few hours into my projects. I am having a lot more fun in general in life, but can't lose sight of my dreams :)

What need to be done this week
I need to switch to doing some early morning work on my projects to stay on track with June goals. Still have a very good chance of hitting them.

Previously on Founder on the Come Up...
In short, got an idea midweek. Tested it a little. Now flushing out the details to test Monday. Using the rest of my Sunday to finish this tiny project and save my week. Captain founder to the rescue. LOL

    MY RETRO - Starting in... 1. 2. 3.

    WINS

    • Customer Interviews: Got the opportunity to talk to founders about real problems holding them up.
    • Advice: Received relevant & practical tips and feedback regarding my own founder dilemma w/ the market from an investor, Sales VP, AE, consultant, and founders.
    • Progress: Flushed out my idea's audience, problem, process, offer, price, cost, metric & deliverable to test and pitch confidently. Start drafting marketing copy. Decide to use a sell sheet to test instead of a landing page. Plus, set up a speaker profile on Notist.

    LESSONS

    • Progress: Didn't finish drafting my sell sheet. Working on it 1st thing tomorrow. Realizing I need to improve gauging how long a task/project will take. Flushing out my idea was me doing product development against the opportunity cost without the tech. AKA my brain needs to rest now.
    • Status: No June sales yet. Taking an "L" for June to focus on July.

    NEXT

    • Tasks: Create a lead qualifying questionnaire. Follow-through and test pitch w/ last week discovery calls. Finish my sales material and do outreach. Go to Venture for America orientation later this week. I'm one of their accelerator speakers.
