Survey for podcasters, on new product concept
Hi all, my little startup has been working on a product which helps the podcasting experience, for both podcasters and their listeners, by providing a ‘memory’ app (and service) for information discussed during the podcasts.
For example, you’re listening to a podcast and the host talks about a book, a Medium article, another podcast, and a website - by the time your commute is over, and you’ve finished the podcast, you’ve forgotten all the details, and wish you would have a way to go back and explore those ‘memorized’ links once you get to your laptop or on your phone. That’s the problem we are looking to solve.

Interesting. For reference, you should stay aware of the work EX-IQ is doing with their podcast player, Notecast. It's designed for the listener who wants to actively learn while digesting podcasts. https://www.notecast.app/
How does this work?
Still working out the concept, but there would be explicit referencing by the podcast author, who adds time-synced links/metadata via a tool we build (or can be inserted via API by podcast editors); or implicit referencing via text extraction on the transcript.
Then all the metadata goes into a knowledge graph which can be queried by any podcast player, or used by a separate app we build with an Instagram-like feed.
We have big chunks of this already built, as a general platform, but looking to validate viability of this specific concept.
