Switched to Substack... and I'm LOVING IT 😍
Yesterday, I was looking around IH a saw so many people with Substack newsletters. I thought to myself, what is so great about Substack?
The problem before... 😥
At the time I was using ConvertKit for buildfaster.co's newsletter. It did the job, but IMO it had a bad UI and not very friendly for my subscribers to use.
How did it go?
So after an hour or two I added all my posts, transferred subscribers, and published it on: buildfaster.substack.com
And boy is it great! It has a much neater UI and great "blog" features. I feel like this is gonna to great for my newsletter and help me get more readers.
What do you think about it?
If you have a Substack newsletter or have seen some in the past, I'd like to hear your thoughts on it and how I can improve mine.

I also have been using Substack. Super easy to use and looks nice.
However, I'd love to see some improvement on the formatatting tools, as well as options for polls/surveys inside de newsletter, for getting NPS and general satisfaction.

Substack is a great platform to quickly get started with newsletter. Your newsletter looks great on substack! I don't think there is anything as such you need to improve.
I am currently working on mine (it's called Psych) and just need some work to finish things up.
Cool! Hey I have a question. How do you add your name to your newsletter. On the sign up page you put in your comment, it says “A Substack newsletter by Viabhav”
Mine just says “A Substack Newsletter”
How did you get yours to do that?
You can do that in the settings. Take a look at the section called "Publication Details".
Thanks, I see that section but can't find which one to edit. None of them worked.
Edit the Email Sender Name Property.
Yeah, I just changed it to "Brayden W" and the homepage still looks like this:
Well, That's strange. At this point, I would suggest you to get in touch with their support. Maybe they know why is that happening 😕
