Hey Indie Hackers community! I've just launched https://www.syncresis.com and it would be great to get some feedback. Thanks in advance!
My 3 main suggestions.
1. Kill the slide-ins
Slide-ins are ok for pop-up or similar stuff. But the basic content of your page has to be immediate to read.
Those double slide-ins (headline and background), make the design look cheap and old. Plus they reduce the readability of your headline and navigation which are the first point of focus for a new visitor.
2. What problem do you target?
What pain of the customers will you eliminate in exchange for money?
The three slide-in headlines are quite vague.
Did you consider to start with a question like: "Are you tired of PROBLEM X?"
After that the whole message will become much more clear.
3. Where's the CTA?
What do you expect from the reader? I don't see a super evident CTA above the fold nor at the bottom.
If I want to work with you, what's the next step?
At the very least invite people to subscribe to a mailing list.
Let me know if this makes sense for you.
Hi,
Some suggestions:
Hope this helps, have a great new year start!
I agree with all of Samuele's points. In particular, the three headlines are far too vague. You've got seconds to pique's someones interest and if there's not a clearer indication of what you're offering people are likely to leave.
I like the image background, but you might want to underlay a partly transparent box under the text to make it more readable. And agree that it doesn't need to slide.
Aside I think you've got a solid layout and content. Where are you planning to market this?
