Tablecruncher is going Open Source — and cross-platform

Finally, after neglecting this product page way too long:
Big news for Tablecruncher!

The fast, native CSV editor for Mac is going Open Source (GPLv3) — and will soon run on Windows and Linux, too.

The Mac version is already available for free. The open-source launch and cross-platform builds will follow in May.

Why open source?

After selling Tablecruncher to users in over 70 countries, I reached a crossroads: either turn it into a full-blown business — or find a more sustainable way to keep improving it without going all-in on commercialization.

Open-sourcing Tablecruncher felt right. It lets me keep helping people who deal with messy data every day, and make the app available to an even broader audience.

💬 If that sounds good to you and you'd like to support me and the project, please ⭐ star the GitHub repo to follow along.

Thanks to everyone who supported the project so far — more soon.
