Taking care of old clients = New opportunities

This short post is not a secret sauce for working with clients, but a reminder. I want to remind you once again that you should pay more attention to your users / customers.

True story. After finishing the project, about 2 weeks later, I decided to ask the client if everything is ok. It really bothered me because it was a big illustration system, always can be mistaken files, different sizes, animations, etc. In addition, I present large commercial projects as "case studies" on the website and social media. So it is important for me to wait until the illustrations are on the website, in the right size, and positions, and of course look awesome.

In response, I received compliments that I'm taking care of the project even after its end + new scenes to the existing system of illustrations + a new project. In total, we have already done 3 projects in this collaboration, and who knows if they would have happened or not if I had not shown my interest and attention.

The main idea of this post: open your email app, look at finished projects and ask clients if everything is ok. You will be very surprised how many people like it, and how many potentially new projects you will get. Personally, I'll do exactly that this week. I hope this was helpful and thanks for reading to the end!

This is really great advice for growing your business, but also just for being conscientious. We all want to work with people and companies who care. By reaching back out unexpectedly, you send a strong signal that you care!

    Thanks for sharing!

Exactly! The relationship between people is important not only in business but also in everyday life. In my case, I really cared about the project, and it paid off, both financially and in terms of performance.
