Hey everyone!
I’m Mauro, developer with 15 years of coding and cofounder of two failed startups (SF & NY)
I got really tired of VC startup world and how it operates. My last startup I was leading a team of 5 while also juggling with management and stakeholders.
4 years in and my mental health was torn apart, I decided to leave.
A full year went by and I couldn’t help myself to sit on my computer for more than a few hours a day, I just couldn’t.
Meanwhile my younger brother got a Bubble Certification, and I started tinkering with Bubble and other no-code tools, which I find incredibly powerful, yet sometimes, too broad for certain use cases.
2024 arrived and I decided this was going to be my year, the year where I provide value and can use my knowledge & expertise to its full extent.
I have a lot of ideas which I will build, but the marketing side has always been a weak spot for me, I’m a hardcore developer on my most part.
I knew all my projects would require a landing page and a micro site, and because of this I started building some sort of landing page framework, something I could use to launch my sites fast and easy.
I wasn’t really sure where I was going but I knew how I wanted to get there, through an opinionated protocol on how to build sites using components which serve a purpose and have limited extensibility, why? Because this way I can ensure the focus in solely on the content of what I’m presenting.
I continued coding away and playing with many approaches, and eventually I came up with a name: Eeze.
Eeze is going to be a goal-oriented no-code site builder for makers like myself who want to create sites which look and perform good across devices. A builder which revolves around a design system which you can modify to apply your style guide and you can feel safe it’ll work out great as if nothing happened.
I’m really close to finishing it and will announce it here, but among many features it’ll have a component kit, SEO customization, out of the box A/B testing capabilities, theming, native integrations to other no-code tools, custom domains, SSL and much more!
I’m really excited and I hope this works out in a way which resonates with me, with my values and my internal desire to be able to help others.
Until then I hope you’re having a great weekend and a fantastic week ahead.
Much love from Buenos Aires!
