Talanoa — Build in public [week 9]

This week was all about leveling up design, product, and marketing.

✅ I hired 2 freelancers to code the new website hero section I designed. It was a great way to test quality & animation creativity without committing long-term. One clearly stood out — and that’s who I’m moving forward with!

🎥 Tried a new marketing method on TikTok — early signs are 🔥 but I need more iterations. If it works, I’ll share a full breakdown here.

📦 Shipped v0.2.5 of Talanoa with attachment support (drag & drop, preview, context menu). The app is getting smoother every week.

🧵 Experimented with Buffer to batch and schedule tweets. Early days but I can already tell I’ll be more consistent with it.

🛑 Still avoiding Reddit (need to change that 😅) but planning to post weekly updates there too.

🎯 Next week’s mission: launch the new website! It’s beautiful, clear, and should convert way better than the quick placeholder I had before.
