Talk - A free video call for the web.
There are 1000 ways to make video call right now. The problem I see is that, all the participants must be on the same service, I have to signup for the service or make others signup for the service I use. It's 2020 and all the browsers support WebRTC.

Most people have Gmail, so Hangouts is not an issue.
The problem I have with my remote calls is that Hangouts's interface is just too damn complicated. Also it takes so many actions to get a call started. I loved the appear.in system (that got bought and changed) where I had my URL (appear.in/kristerv) and this was mine. To talk to someone I just went there, shared the same link and was done with it. I have not been able to find such an easy service again. Please implement it :D
You could have it the same way in Talk like: https://talk.vasanthv.com/kristerv
You could even have like: https://talk.kristerv.com/ if you own the domain.
Appear.in is now Whereby.com, it's my favourite tool for calls atm and still works the same as appear.in did.

Looks like there was a trademark issue hence the domain/brand change.
