Taming the "70 Tab" Brain: I built a persistent focus layer for the Chrome Side Panel.

I have a confession: The browser is my "Wild West."

I open a tab to "quickly" check an email, and 20 minutes later, I'm deep in a Wikipedia rabbit hole with 14 new tabs open and zero memory of what I was originally doing.

For an ADHD brain, this is a daily tax on my time and energy. It's called "Tab Blindness"—the second you switch tabs, the original goal vanishes.

I got tired of it. So I built Anchor.

Anchor is a tiny Chrome extension that lives in your Side Panel. It stays visible no matter how many tabs you open or where you click. It keeps your "Anchor" task in your peripheral vision at all times.

No more "context-switching" for 20 minutes. No more "ADHD Tax." Just one task, one side panel, and one goal.

Building the Alpha (The Founding 10):

I'm currently building the first Alpha cohort. I'm looking for 10 "Founding Members" to help me shape the roadmap and fix the early bugs.

It's a one-time $10 payment for lifetime access. No subscriptions. Ever.

The Tech Stack:

Simple and fast: Node, Express, and Stripe. I’m currently hosting it on Railway and deploying via Git.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. Do you struggle with "tab-blindness"? How do you stay focused in the browser?

Yesterday I shared the problem that led me to build Anchor — the “70-tab brain.”

You open a tab to do one thing…

20 minutes later you're deep in a rabbit hole with zero memory of the original task.

For me, the problem isn’t information overload.

    It’s context loss.

So I built a small Chrome extension that keeps your current task permanently visible in the Side Panel. One anchor task. Always in sight. No matter how many tabs you open.

    Today I’m opening the Alpha.

Instead of launching broadly, I’m starting with 10 Founding Members.

    Why only 10?

Because at this stage I don’t want customers yet — I want collaborators.

    Founding members will:

    • Get lifetime access for a one-time $10 payment

    • Never pay the future subscription when v1.0 launches

    • Get direct input into the roadmap

    • Help shape the features that actually make this useful

The goal of the Alpha isn’t growth.

The goal is finding the real product.

If you’re someone who constantly ends up with 30–70 tabs open and forgets what you were trying to do in the first place… you’re probably the exact person I want feedback from.
