For a new software services company what are the best prospects to target via ads?
Been a while since I ran ads but imo it's better to start by studying competitors or similar companies in your industry. You can do this by inserting their domain into semrush.com(or spyfu.com) and it'll show how well the ads are doing and the copy they're using.
Also, you may look beyond Google or FB ads(almost oversaturated) and consider advertising/ sponsoring a niche media or community which serves your audience.
