Teaching potential users to install my PWA
I created a "how to" guide for installing a PWA. I plan on putting it in the email you get when signing up to try to encourage people to install.

My theory is that people who add the PWA to their home screen/install it will be more likely to use it. Let me know what you think of this idea!
Don't you think the app should be motivating and suggesting the user to install it as PWA?
I absolutely agree with the PWA thing, but it is very difficult to make end users read this guide.

Yeah thats a good point! Android Chrome automatically prompts users to install PWAs that meet the criteria. I have a button on the desktop Chrome version for installing, but I should probably make it a bit more prominent/encouraging. iOS is the most annoying of course - I’ll have to put in some work to build in an install prompt.

They have solutions for both iOS and Android to save the PWA as a bookmark.
Not sure what the exact stats are but I remember reading about how people don't download much apps anymore. Not sure if PWAs will be any different but it's worth a try. Curious to see how it turns out.
