Team or indie?

I started my pro journey in 2012, where I met my partner. And for the last 10 years, I've stayed with, 50% on all the companies we've built. The tech on one side — me —, the business on the other.

We had nothing in common, I would even say we were complete opposites, except that we complemented each other in our work. And that's the same argument we used to push to our clients: "We don't have the same values, but we work well together".

10 years later, I put an end to this association, because: "We don't have the same values", surprising no?

To be very transparent with you, I think what has kept me going all these years is safety, that thing that allows you to rely on someone if you are afraid.

During all this period, I developed a lot of personal projects, but as my association was the most important thing, I relegated very quickly my independent creations to the background or even abandoned them, that's exactly what happened for the product I carry today.

And yet, for the past few months, I've been an indie and I've never felt so good about my work. I don't expect anything from anyone and I can fully express my creativity in accordance with my values.
