Tear apart my MVP site.

Hi guys,

I've just finished up my MVP site, and I would love some feedback on it. If you can get it to bug out or anything bad to happen, please let me know!

Also if you get the chance, drop me a line on:

  • What I can do better
  • What you liked
  • What was confusing
  • Any possible additions

Of course lots of the functionality is hidden behind the paywall and I don't expect anyone here to sign up (Unless you want to automate your customer service!) but if you can get anything accessible to you to break, that would be awesome.

Here it is: www.sidekickai.co

Thanks!

    I like the idea!

The headline and subheadline need more work I think. You do not mention the "why" there at all. Check out some articles like this one for inspiration:

I would also suggest getting some inspiration from your competitors:

I put more detailed feedback here: https://screenbud.com/shot/0e5bc804-d564-42ee-80f1-592e34d6a65c

P.S. I would appreciate any feedback on my feedback and ScreenBud.

Thanks for the great feedback! I love the idea of ScreenBud, and this is a really great way of getting people to try it out.

A recommendation I would make is to make the zoom easier to see. It took me a little while to find it, and I was using my browser zoom to look around at the beginning. Another recommendation I would make is to allow the user to click on a bounding box and have the associated comment come up. Currently it only does the reverse of that.

As for Sidekick, I'm taking a lot of the feedback to heart and making some changes, so if you check back, you might see some differences! Ultimate.ai has an awesome website, and a pretty featured product which I will definitely look into furthur, but I'm glad to see that as far as the main value-add goes, I think Sidekick's open-ended natural conversation might take the cake.

I think your sub-headline could be tighter. You're repeating the headline by saying "sidekick ai automates your customer service"

You can cut that out and jump straight to "Sidekick AI provides friendly, 24/7 customer support...."

I also get the impression that your USP is the natural feel of the AI's conversational tone, so that should be included in the sub-headline copy.

Other than that, the landing page is really good. Simple, to the point, and clear about what you're offering.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the black and white branding. It feels very cold, but you're trying to sell a warm, natural-sounding AI.

Lastly, I noticed that when I type a long question to the AI it cuts off my question so only the first line shows.

I liked the embedded chat. I went with the classic question "my laptop doesn't charge" and the replies were way better than I was expecting. Well done.

Following what @artur124 suggested may be good to cherry-pick some really good prompts and give the option to pick them to start the conversation, so users get the best impression possible.

A small issue: There is some kind of CSS bug with the noise background on wide monitors and it stops repeating. See https://imgur.com/a/z5YA8GC

That is a very effective landing page. Simple and direct.

I would however consider improving the demo. I tried chatting with the Sidekick. To all of my requests it responded, "I cannot do that". Perhaps IT Helpdesk is too vague. Should I be asking for help with software or a physical product? A more concrete example would help people better experience the agent's capabilities. Let's say it's a sales rep at an online shoe store. Then I know I could ask about returns, exchanges, or discounts.

Thanks for checking it out! I think you're right that it should be a less vague demo. I will have to look into why it kept saying "I cannot do that", because generally it should be pretty good at holding a conversation. Some more guidance about what the Sidekick can and cannot do will be super helpful to the users. For instance, currently Sidekicks cannot take any action outside of talking with you and giving you information, so I should make that more clear.
