Tear my business apart - don't hold back.

I've been lurking for a while. Reading the newsletter. Upvoting. Watching. Not participating.

Time to change that.

Was with Harry Dry last week in a cabin outside London. A break from the cycle of life. We've known each other since school. IH came up "build in public more". So here I am.

This is probably business #8. And I want you to tear it apart.

TheClassicValuer.com is a collation over a £1,000,000,000 sold classic cars. It's how you know the value of any classic in the world and the price trend.

Would love to hear the IH community's opinion of what could be improved, what doesn't make sense, or any questions!

Love it! Here's some feedback, hope it's helpful:

You lose me at the header: I don't know "Classic car searching made simple" means. Spent a few mins looking at the website, and it seems like what you do is track all the prices of classic cars sold over time. Perhaps something along the lines of - the best pricing analytics for classic car buyers

Then, your copy is almost there. But still a bit confusing. Think about what your user gets, some thought-starters:

    • Find auction prices for the model you're searching for without searching 20+ auction websites
    • See auction price trends from 10 years of over 18k models so you know you're getting a great price
    • Get notified when your dream car's on auction

And the pop-up for your email newsletter could be a bit more compelling... This is THE newsletter for the analytical classic car buyer.

Cheers Rob - just subscribed to How to Grow.

V interesting re the "classic car searching made simple line" it's never quite sat right with me so I'm glad you picked it out. Like the pivot to be more user centric on the copy - will update

Good to have you here man.

    Already given some feedback.

The video just currently a black screen. Set an “autoloading” screen on it.

Also I think pull things up like NomadList does. So you can see start seeing the cars (without having to scroll down)

And possibly ditch the social proof. If we can see all the cars that's enough social proof.
