Tear my landing page apart - code review service

The landing page is for a code review service, focused on React.

I've recently had 5 clients doing exactly this (mostly through Upwork), and looking to market and grow this service. Potentially build stuff to make the process more efficient, and offer recurring plans for ongoing code reviews.

For now, the purpose of the landing page is to get more clients, see the demand, and learn more about customers' needs before building anything.

What is missing?
What's the one reason you would bounce off this page and not buy (provided you needed this)?

Any feedback on the landing page, or any other aspect of the business, is much appreciated.

    As someone who is technical i would be looking at the quality of this site before purchasing. I can see some glaring things that I would expect to be picked up on if you were reviewing code which would put me off purchasing from here. Hope this helps

      Thanks for checking and the feedback! What things have you seen? (BTW the landing page is built on landen.co and I have no way of controlling most of the HTML output)

    This is a great service. (I certainly know of a company that could use a second set of eyes on their code!) One thing I'm wondering about is how this actually works. Do companies just create an account for you on their github/bitbucket server? (That seems... unlikely.) Do customers send you a tarball of some front end code? Is there an NDA process?

      Thanks for checking it out! The client will either invite a reviewer to their repo or send us specific files. In either case, we will sign an NDA. I need to think this through and provide info on the page, as it will definitely be a concern for clients.

    Hey Panos,

    Few notes:

    1. For copy I'd definitely recommend surveying your previous customers and get them to review this page (or -- create a survey and give them the link to it). You can utilize survey results to update the copy of your landing page (as an example, ask them to describe what their issues where when they were looking for a code review).

    Also I'd recommend running your copy through a tool like Grammarly just so you can see if there are any improvements which you can do.

    1. Implement social proof to tell prospects why they should use SecondEyes:
    • testimonials (past clients)
    • company logos (past clients)

    Another way of adding more proof would be to add a section about who is behind SecondEyes and his React experience.
    That is the reason which I would personally bounce off the page (although I'm not a part of your target audience).

    Additionally, I'd recommend recording a video of how your code review process works, or create step-by-step graphic of the whole process.

    P.S. What is detailed PDF report as a deliverable -- can you add a sample of it to the pricing section?
