Tech co-founder needed for disruptive Real Estate startup to eliminate commissions. There is so much still missing in this space!
I am working on a company currently to be a complete end-to-end way for buyers and sellers to not need agents working on commission. Real Estate has by far needed major disruption still operating on its outdated manual process and agents earning income from commissions.
There are some firms out there like Redfin and some other flat fee companies but they really haven't addressed how to get around offering a fixed percentage commission to agents that represent the buyers.
I have a deep vision written/mapped out, an MVP to build, completed Y Combinator Start Up School and will be applying for the Winter 2021 batch for this new company. I have many years experience in sales/marketing, owned my own company with multiple locations, and have sold real estate for over the last 5+ years.
I need someone with the experience to build it and be a partner on this journey. Someone who is passionate about doing and taking on large visions. Someone who can see the potential in this huge multi-trillion dollar space and make something special that will change the lives of millions while making a lasting impact on society. I'd be keen to partner a bit down the road as we get to the U.S. market. Currently my business provides a service for tenants migrating all their accounts to the new place as they move, and we're just stepping into the partnership/offering areas with property companies. BUT at the moment operating in the U.K. Thus, a bit down the line I'm happy to help disrupt :)

I have had this idea a lot over the past few years and it seems like you need a way to do a 3D scan of the inside and outside of the house so the user can filter down their choice before looking at them(3D immersive tours would be so freaking cool and wouldn't require you to be in the location of the house). If you ever get VC let me know I am working on robots to do something completely different but the tech is there to build 3D models using my tech.

I actually have never heard of them but assumed that someone has already done it. Really cool stuff, they need to hook the scanner up to a drone to do aerial scans of the whole property(if they already don't have that option).
I really hope this project succeeds. I am not in the real estate business but I have been thinking about this for years, it's a major problem on a global scale.
